ImPress VoxBox from Influenster!

Hey Everyone!


  So I got a VoxBox to share with you, this is the second time I've tried the Impress nails because they came in a previous VoxBox.

I got two different styles and I thought both were fun and surprisingly wearable! 

I have to say I love these nails! When I want my nails to look done but not have to spend hours doing them I always reach for a set of these. They really do last and they are so easy to apply!

4 or More TAG!

Hey Everyone!

  So here is my 4 or more TAG!

 When I was pulling the products for this video I had a really hard time, as most of you know my makeup collection is pretty large. It truly would have been a lot easier to pull things I have 4 or less of. And of course this got my thinking, how much is too much?

 I do makeup for a job, it's not a hobby or just YouTube for me. I am a working makeup artist so I find that I justify the amount of stuff I own using that excuse. Truth is I haven't used some of my makeup for a really long time, coming up on a year now, so maybe it isn't about what you do but how much you use. I rarely wear makeup myself, I have super sensitive skin and no time!

I have thought and even tried to go thru and pull what I don't use as much but at the end of the day no matter how big of a dent I make I always get it filled right back up! Makeup is a never ending obsession, there will always be a new product, a new colour, or special packaging. My words of wisdom for all yo out there reading this, buy what you will use, don't buy something that you know you will never touch because the packaging is pretty. When you buy something and it doesn't work for you return it (yes you can do that!), don't just let it sit and grow, trust me before you know it the collection will over take you!

Where have I been!

I know I know!


 I'm an awful Blogger and I'm truly sorry, I don't have a laptop anymore so so whatever reason when I'm sitting at my desk I do a lot of editing but I always forget to get on here and BLOG for you. So my goal is now to host at least 4 BLOG's a month and also try to link to all my YouTube videos thru here.

So the last two months have been super busy, with what you ask? Well planning for Brilliant! has started again, for anyone who doesn't know Brilliant! is a charity fashion show for St. Paul's hospital in Vancouver, I've been a part from year one and now at year 3 I am in change of all things makeup. I have over 60 makeup artists and around 100 models and it can be a very hectic time. The show isn't until September but we start planning in March!

The boys are both doing really well, Logan has his 11th Birthday coming up, I really can't believe he's almost 11, where idd the time go? Paxton is going to be 3 this year, WOW, I have a hard time even typing that. He is my baby after all and he's not a baby anymore.

Both the boys took skating lessons so far this year, Logan did amazing and Paxton had no desire to skate until we put a hockey stick in his hands, then you couldn't get him off the ice! 

He's also very artistic and thinks outside the box, I guess the paper wasn't exciting enough so his body became his canvas. He was covered by the time I finally stopped him!

And he got his first haircut, this was a very sad day for MOM!

Even with an 8 year age gap there are the best of friends, these two are my life blessings, and I'm so thankful!

We took a trip to Alberta to see their dad and my parents who are now living there. It's a very long drive and both my kids were so sleepy! This is them sleeping on the drive home, so cute!

Well there's an update and some of the awesome kid-cuteness! Hope you in enjoyed it and I'll be sure to talk to you guys a lot more!

TTT (Thursday Treasure or Trash) - L'Oreal Lip Gloss

Hey Everyone!



 Here is a NEW Thursday Treasure or Trash (TTT) for you! I'm really enjoying these new lip products from L'Oreal, their name is so long and confusing thats one thing I don't like. I love that for the most part I can throw any of these into my purse and go. They give a very nice hydrating, glossy, full pigmented lip colour.

 Here are all the colours I own, the shade range on this line is amazing and there truly is something for everyone!

I really love the sleek gold packaging, it reminds me of YSL or something very expensive. The only downside is it shows finger tips like you wouldn't believe!

Here you have all the "arm" swatches (thanks Logan (My Son) for letting me use your arm. The family that blogs together, stays together.

As you can see most of these colours have some real pigment in them and they are all super glossy. I'm a fan!

Clinique Cheek POP Blushes!

Hey Everyone,

  So I got these blushes back in February and I have been using them fairly regularly from then until now and I'm still loving them! These are a very smooth and creamy formula and then glide on and blend on like butter, plus I LOVE their packing it's beyond cute!

Their are four colours in total but I only picked up two of them. The first colour I got was 03 Berry Pop and I knew I wanted this one right away. It's a beautiful medium toned pink colour and it gives your cheeks that perfect flush.

The other colour I picked up was 02 Peach Pop and like Berry Pop this is also a very bright tone. This one is more of a peachy coral and have a beautiful sparkle to it.

I've been telling myself for weeks to go out and grab the other two colours and just haven't gotten around to doing it yet but I still plan to. I think these are defiantly worth the slightly higher price tag at $24.00 Canadian each.

Where have I been!

Well HELLO there!

It really has been forever but I'll be completely honest with you now that my laptop has officially gone to electronic heaven blogging isn't so easy anymore. I used to spend most of my nights in bed and blogging but now I have only 1 computer and when I'm sitting in a chair I don't feel inspired to write. However I do promise to work on this, even if that means getting a new laptop (don't twist my rubber arm!).

I'll give you a quick update of what 2014 has looked like for me so far. We moved houses again at the end of 2013, which was both a pain and a blessing. My mother and father moved into the basement of our current home and that has given us lots of family time. The best thing ever to happen for my kids!

A big milestone was Paxton getting his first big boy haircut, man that was a hard one. Any other moms feel that way when they took their little boy for their first cut? It was so hard to watch his beautiful curls fall to the ground and to watch him change from a baby faced little boy into a small man!

Last little update for tonight the boys are still closer then ever, I keep waiting for the moment when they want nothing to do with each other (they are 8 years apart after all) but it doesn't seem to be coming. Paxton is Logan's shadow and wants to do everything with his big brother and Logan just seems perfectly happy to allow him to do so. Warms my heart to see how much they love each other!

This month has been full of friends, family and fun, we truly couldn't be more blessed at this moment and when I look back on the end of 2013 I find it so hard to believe the place I was at and how unhappy things were. Goes to show me everything really does happen for a reason!
