Julep for June

Hey Everyone,

  So Julep for June was honestly my dream box, I don't know if they will ever be able to top this box in my eyes. Between the bright colours, the pretty pastels and the fact that most of them cover perfectly in only one coat really made it fell like Christmas in June!

How true is that? Have you ever thought about "Style" that way, I know I hadn't but I am going to make an effort to start now!

For me this box was basically two sections, the brights and the pastels and even though the reddish orange colour in the second photo really had more of a pastel feel I felt like the colour was too rich to go with the others.

Let's break it down by Box Type!

It Girl featured Char a beautiful and true bright blue colour, Bess a beautiful robins blue, and Nan a burnt orange colour. I've seen Nan in other photos and it looks like a coral cream but mine doesn't look that way! 

Classic With A Twist included Kennedy a Yellowish-Nude cream colour and Martha a very soft pink cream that reminds me of a strawberry milkshake.       

The last two are my favourite out of the whole box and we will start with BOHO Glam. Lexie was the first colour that really caught me eye when I opened my box. It's a beautiful bright yellow colour and I love yellow for doing designs with and it also came with Dianna the perfect light green. These two will look amazing together!

My second favourite and the last ones in the box came from the Bombshell type and that's just what these are BOMBSHELL colours. Raegan the most amazing hot pink cream I own, and Payton, which get's points first for having the same name as my favourite footballer but then it's all about the colour with this amazing BRIGHT green! STUNNING!

Like I said I am in LOVE with this box! I'm wearing Reagan and Dianna on my nails right now and as I'm typing this I can't help that I keep looking at my nails and thinking "how PRETTY are these!"

Julep January 2013

 Hey Everyone!

  I am in LOVE with this months Julep box! First off you can never have enough nudes but look at those amazing neons!!

Here are some closer shots of the whole collection:

Alright let's start with the Hand and Cuticle cream. This really is a wonder product for me, it's helps soften the area around my nail and I had always had an issue with the little pieces of skin the pull up around the nail. Not anymore! 

I also love the stick format because it makes it so easy to apply and it doesn't get all over my fingers which can be more sensitive then the area right around my nails.

COLOR TIME!!!

Our first color combo is Boho Glam and that came with Fiona and Teresa. The first thing I thought when I saw Fiona was Shrek! It's a stunning bright green.

Next we have American Beauty which has Bethany and Mindy. Bethany is bright orange creme color, it really pops and if you put it on-top of Mindy which is a very pale pink it really pops.

Bombshell has the most amazing Purple color called Bette and a beautiful everyday color called Ava. It's a perfect pink colour, just perfect!

When I looked at these two colors I knew that they were the Classic With A Twist combo. They both scream it, LOUD! The pink neon is called Madison and it's a bright pink creme and the nude is Grace a very ice light pink. The only thing I don't like is Grace is really sheer, maybe too sheer to wear on it's own.

It Girl is my usual style and it came with two neons and one nude and I really wasn't too impressed with this set! Nikki is the highlighter yellow shade and it's really not very pretty to be honest! I like Ameila but I find it has almost to much of a shine to it, but the saving grace of this set was Nina. It's a  orangesicle creme color that I have a feeling I will wear all summer! It reminds me a lot of Parker another color I LOVE!

Julep December Box and Extras

Hey Everyone!

 So for December Julep went with GLITTERS and as you all know I love me some Glitter so I was all over it!

I love when Julep adds things to my box that I wasn't expecting, it doesn't matter the value of these items it's just nice that they added something extra. In this box I got 5 of the one-step polish remover wipes.

There was an instant warming foot scrub for this month and this stuff is amazing! I love the way it feels as it warms up on my feet, plus my feet feel so smooth now.

Julep Box - Oct

Happy Halloween!

Well it's almost Halloween and my kids (well only really one of my kids but he get's the other one all worked up) are already driving me nuts about it! Halloween is huge in our family and we got all out so of course when Julep came out with crackle boxes I was super excited  Crackle just seems spooky to me and the colors were amazing!

When I first opened my box I just thought it looks so amazing with all the orange and fall like colors! I did get an add on box but I haven't gotten it yet so I don't have pictures of them yet, as soon I get it I will edit this post.

I got two polishes in this box the first one is Sabrina, my first thought was Sabrina the teenage witch, this is the most amazing orange color crackle. It looks really pretty over a few colors including the blue I also got in this box.

The second color I got was Eloise which is a beautiful medium blue color. It covers in one coat but I add a second one to get more color and everyone was asking me all week what colors I was wearing!

We also got these really cool quick dry drops and I have to say these have saved my life! I always do my nail polish before bed because with two kids that is the only time I can find to paint my nails. So I would paint my nails and then crawl into bed and go to sleep for the night and then of course wake up in the morning and my nails would be smudge and just look awful. With these drops I can just do my nails and add a drop and like magic they are dry! I am so in love with these, THANKS Julep!

The last thing we got in this box were these two jars of nail glitter! They came in Black and Orange and they are so pretty! I will be using these this week when I go my actual Halloween nails......stay tuned for pics on my instragram!

Add Ons!

So I got three add on with this box the first one is Hermione which is a creamy white crackle, Caroline which is Red wine color with red sparkle, and the last color is Leslie which is grayish black with sliver sparkles.
