GT Boxes October

Hey Everyone!

 When I started opening this Topbox tube I was disappointed because I thought we had only received 3 samples but as I started opening the pieces of paper I found the coolest thing I think I've ever seen!

 Let's start with Stila because we got two products from them the first one was a Stila Lip Glaze in the color Raspberry  The formula of these are very nice and not overly sticky and it smells very sweet. This sample is about half of a full size product.

The next product is probably the coolest thing ever. This is NEW Stila Palette in the color In The Moment and these colors are AMAZING! This is a great way to try a whole palette and decide if you like the colors and will get use out of them. I have to say that I love all the colors in this palette and the purples are to die for!

Have you heard of MaskerAide? I hadn't but now that I have I'm defiantly going to be picking up more of these. It's a hydrating facial sheet and they come in several different types, I got the Detox Diva and used the other night for about 20 mins. The next day my skin felt so amazing and I was like why is my skin so soft? Then I remembered that I had used this product!

And last but not least was Endocare which is a product that can with Ampoules and a Tensage Radiance Contour cream. These products are meant to rejuvenate the skin and the cream is to correct and brighten the  eye contour area.

This is another great Topbox Tube and as far as monthly subscription go Topbox is one of the best!

Now on to Glymm because in all honesty this month Glymm was really good which really surprised me. As far as Glymm goes every month you get some ok stuff but for the most part it's just a bunch of ok stuff , this month I feel like they really kicked it up a notch.

The first product I got was these two sample from Cyberderm which we have received in a Glymm box before but they seem to have changed the packaging. When I got these samples the first time they came in these plastic tubes that were shaped like a liquid medicine dispenser and while I thought they looked cool they were very unpractical to use and store. I like the tubes they came in this time much better. The product itself is ok, I don't like the one with sunscreen in it cause it has that very strong small but the H2O hydrating one is AMAZING!

This is a Femme Couture mascara and I HATE IT! It's a full sized sample and so it got points for Glymm for being in the box but the product itself is awful! It's such a wet formula and the bristles are so small that when you pull the wand out you can't see the bristles because the product is covering them up. AWFUL!

These came to use with the mascara and even though I won't be using that, I will be using these! So how you use the card is you place it over your eye and then put your mascara on. They help with smudging and prevent any mascara from getting onto the eyelid.

So it looks like Glymm is going to be starting a new service called Glymm MaMa and while I love the idea I would have loved it a lot more last year when I was pregnant. Either way they sent us baby oil which is ok.

September Glossy Box

Hey Everyone!

So I was so in LOVE with my September Glossy Box! It had 2 amazing full sized products and then 2 awesome sized samples and 1 smaller sized sample. I love how for the most part Glossy Box always seems to get a makeup product in our boxes, which to me is the reason I get beauty boxes so I appreciate that! 

The first product we got was a full sized Wella Mirror Polish Shine Serum. This product can be used before you style or after to help smooth and also give your hair a nice high-gloss finish. I've used this product a few times and I love the way it gives my hair a shine without making it feel oily and it has an amazing scent!

Next we got two B. Kamins products but neither of them were full sized and that is probably my only complaint about my box this month. It would have been great to get a trail size of the body lotion and a full size of the lip balm. As far as the products go the body lotion takes to long to soak into the skin for me. The lip balm is nice but it leaves my lips feeling oily so I've started using this at night before bed and I like it! I can go to sleep and wake up and my lips still feel like there is balm on them.

Dove Cleartone is my new go to pitstick, this stuff is amazing! It smells really good and I've been using mine for about 3 weeks and I notice a real difference with the color in my underarm areas. It's like an exfoliator for your armpits, it's AMAZING!

The last thing the we got this month was the NYX The Crimson Amulet which was a Limited Edition product. In all honesty they could have just sent me this and that would have been enough.

This collection comes with so much stuff it's mind blowing! It has 24 eye shadows and for the most part they are all very pigmented and easy to blend. In this collection there are a good mix of mattes and shimmers. With this one box you can do so many eye looks I don't think you'll ever get tired of it!

And if the eye shadows weren't enough there are 5 blushes, 1 highlighter and 4 lip colors, WOW. It also has a HD eye primer and an eyeliner. There are 2 matte blushes and 3 shimmery blushes and the highlighter isn't over the top which is nice. It's adds a nice shimmer without being glittery. 

All in all this was once again an AMAZING box! I type that so much I kind of get sick reading it but in all honesty Glossy Box always seems to blow my mind. Month after month they keep things fresh, provide great smaples, and it's always worth the price we pay for it.

Julep Box - Oct

Happy Halloween!

Well it's almost Halloween and my kids (well only really one of my kids but he get's the other one all worked up) are already driving me nuts about it! Halloween is huge in our family and we got all out so of course when Julep came out with crackle boxes I was super excited  Crackle just seems spooky to me and the colors were amazing!

When I first opened my box I just thought it looks so amazing with all the orange and fall like colors! I did get an add on box but I haven't gotten it yet so I don't have pictures of them yet, as soon I get it I will edit this post.

I got two polishes in this box the first one is Sabrina, my first thought was Sabrina the teenage witch, this is the most amazing orange color crackle. It looks really pretty over a few colors including the blue I also got in this box.

The second color I got was Eloise which is a beautiful medium blue color. It covers in one coat but I add a second one to get more color and everyone was asking me all week what colors I was wearing!

We also got these really cool quick dry drops and I have to say these have saved my life! I always do my nail polish before bed because with two kids that is the only time I can find to paint my nails. So I would paint my nails and then crawl into bed and go to sleep for the night and then of course wake up in the morning and my nails would be smudge and just look awful. With these drops I can just do my nails and add a drop and like magic they are dry! I am so in love with these, THANKS Julep!

The last thing we got in this box were these two jars of nail glitter! They came in Black and Orange and they are so pretty! I will be using these this week when I go my actual Halloween nails......stay tuned for pics on my instragram!

Add Ons!

So I got three add on with this box the first one is Hermione which is a creamy white crackle, Caroline which is Red wine color with red sparkle, and the last color is Leslie which is grayish black with sliver sparkles.

Fall Favs!

Hey Everyone!!

 So fall is officially here and I'm loving it. These products have been my most worn and/or products I just love in the fall.

 As far as lip products go in the fall I tend to lean towards a nude lip or a very dull pink lip, I do go red but that is more into winter time.  The one combination I've been wearing a lot this month has been the GlossyBox lipstick in Glossy Pink with NYX Tanned over top of it.

I have finally found the perfect color match foundation for me which is a huge WIN for me. I normally have to mix two shades to create my perfect shade but while I was at the drug store last month I was playing around with the Bourjois products and happened to swatch a couple of their foundations onto my face. AS fate would have it one of them was a perfect match and on top of that I love the way this foundation feels and looks on my face, so my go to foundation is now the Bourjois Healthy Mix Serum in the color 51 Light Vanilla.

While we are talking about the face I have to tell you all I have become obsessed with MAC Center of the Universe mineralize skin finish! This product blows my mind every time I use it, it's the most beautiful red/orange color with a gold highlight. If you want to use just the highlight part you can on mine because the gold is mostly around the outside or I can use more of just the color area. I freaking LOVE LOVE LOVE this!

Last month for eyes I started using some drugstore products and come to a point where I just wnated it to be simple, keep it simple, stupid!

This is the Maybelline Eye Studio quad in Cozy Cashmere and it's beautiful. These colors all remind me of fall and they are so smooth and blend so easily. I love these quads from Maybelline and also have Copper Chic and Olive Martini.
